Choose A Bio: Christine M. Lampert, AIA, NCARB Ms. Lampert is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). She is licensed to practice architecture in six states: She is a principal of Lampert - Dias Architects, Inc., located in San Clemente, California. Previously she was principal of Lang Lampert Architects headquartered in Irvine, California from 1983 to 1994. Her firms have produced numerous projects including residential, commercial, school and government projects, as well as historic renovations. She served eight years as a member of the board of the California Architects Board (CAB) from 1994 to 2001, and she acted as president of the board in 1998. The state of California licenses and regulates over 1/5 of all of the architects in the United States. While on the California Architects Board, she chaired the California Exams Committee and was instrumental in the new California Supplemental Exam which was first released in February 1999. She has also served on the Professional Qualifications Committee and the IDP Committee as well as other committees. She continues to serve on committees and task force groups for the state board. She has served on NCARB (the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) committees and has been involved in writing and grading the Architectural Registration Exam (ARE). She serves on NAAB accrediting teams which review schools of architecture in the United States and has visited schools including Notre Dame University, the University of Maryland, Southern Illinois University, and Woodbury University. She is on staff as a part time instructor of architecture at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA. She also participates as a guest lecturer and has sat on juries at several California Schools of Architecture including Cal Poly Pomona, USC, Orange Coast College, and Saddleback College. Ms. Lampert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in architecture from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Christine Lampert has lived in San Clemente, California for the past 34 years, where she and her architect husband, David Lang, have raised their three daughters.
Ms. Dias is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). She is a principal of Lampert – Dias Architects, Inc., located in San Clemente, California. She has experience with numerous projects including residential, commercial, school and government projects, as well as historic renovations. She spent over ten years in campus planning at California State Polytechnic Institute, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona). She continues to consult for the campus. She has also participated as an instructor at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo while attending the university for her masters degree. Much of her background has been in custom home design. She spent many years designing and building custom homes in Lake Tahoe and Northern California. She was also a project architect for Berkus Architects in Santa Barbara, a firm known for custom home design. Currently she is working on the design of several custom homes as well as the San Clemente Seniors Community Center, several retail – mixed use projects, and several retail designs. |
